Church Planting Training in Central Asia
This summer, our one-month church planting training took place—disguised as a business seminar.

A Month for the Harvest
61 participants (including around 20 children), some of whom had only recently come to faith, traveled from Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. For many, attending the training meant overcoming significant obstacles.
What moved us most: the majority were young people eager to be trained in evangelism and multiplication; the youngest participant was just 15 years old.
God’s Mighty Work
During the very first week, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully. Many participants arrived burdened and discouraged, facing difficult personal circumstances or spiritual struggles. Coming together, we experienced God’s power in remarkable ways—healing hearts and bodies, setting people free from spiritual bondages and igniting their hearts for the mission Jesus has given us.
The program was packed with content; each week brought a new teacher, providing diverse teaching inputs. We studied Luke 10, house church planting, apostolic teams, multiplication, and the central question:
How can we ignite sustainable church-planting movements along the Silk Road—even amid persecution?
For many, this was a radical shift in perspective: stepping away from the traditional pastored church model toward house churches and God’s kingdom processes that multiply.
In a short time, much seed was sown—seed we believe will continue to grow and bear fruit. Beyond that, valuable and supportive relationships were formed, spanning Central Asia and forming spiritual networks.
Please Pray with Us!
God brought us together this month so we could be sent out again. Participants are now returning—to their families, their daily lives, often into environments where Christians face persecution or social isolation.
Yet what they have seen and heard in these four weeks has sparked something. It began with a clear realization: we cannot continue as before.
Now comes the real challenge:
- How do I stay active?
- How do I hear God’s voice?
- How do I put what I’ve learned into practice?
- How do I build a team that listens to God together and follows Him?
Pray with us for:
- Protection, courage, and spiritual clarity
- That they give everything for Jesus, who gave everything for them
- That they do not retreat but move forward in full power
Among the participants, some Kazakhs are returning to Mongolia, where they are eagerly awaited to train their fellow countrymen in discipleship and church planting. With around 140,000 people, Kazakhs are the largest ethnic minority in Mongolia—and many have never heard of Jesus, as Mongols have limited opportunities to share the Gospel due to very different cultural backgrounds.
Follow-up: Staying Connected
What God started this month will continue. Follow-up visits are already planned to support individual groups and participants in their countries. Our friends Zharin* and Baran* and their families will join us.
Please pray for:
- Wisdom
- The right timing
- That we can support participants exactly where they need it most
Thank you for being part of this movement—through your prayers, support, and faith in the growth of God’s kingdom in Central Asia!
